Hyacinth sweater is a classic knit with cables. It’s knitted from the bottom up according to charts. If you haven’t knitted cables or after charts before – don’t fear. Here you will be guided through all techniques. There are also beginner guides on how to knit twists and how to follow a chart. In the pattern it is also made easier for you to extend the sweater to your desired length with extra charts and description of how this can be used.

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. The sleeves are picked up around the sleeve edge and the sleeve dome is shaped using short rows before knitting in around according to charts to desired length.

The sweater has a classic shape with a low ease and fits nicely over both dresses, just as well as for jeans. If you want a more oversize fit, you can choose a size larger than stated.

You should choose the size based on your breast size. If you are on the limit, you may want to assess whether you should take a size larger or smaller, depending on your shape the sweater will expand during wash and block in width. The length of the sweater will be almost the same as before wash and block, as the pattern won’t stretch in length. This is taken care of in the objectives stated above.

I measure 89 cm around the chest, 91 cm around the abdomen and 98 cm around the hip and have knitted size. S.

The entire work is knitted with 3 strands: 1 strand Organic brushed alpaca along with 2 strands organic soft merino.

Circular needle 5,5 mm length 80 cm.

Circular needle 4,5 mm length 80 cm.

Double pointed needle 4,5 mm or with a long wire and use magic loop.

2 markers and 3 stitch holders, wire, or scrap yarn.

Cable needle
