Knitted cableband (english)

The headband is a perfect scrap project. It is knitted in one piece and has a fine twisting pattern on the upper side. It has a bit of mounting at the ends but is otherwise knitted in around.

A small fast and fine little project to both children and adults.

Techniques used:

1. Increases and decreases.
2. Cable knitting to both Right and left
3. kitchener stitches.

Size: One size – Fits children from about 5 years old (normal headband size)

Knitting gauge in stockinette: about 30sts x 40rows on needle size 3mm = 10 x 10cm.

Yarn proposal:

1. about 15g Organic soft merino from Kaos Yarn (50g/225m) + about 5g Organic brushed alpaca from Kaos Yarn (25g/225m)
2. about 10g Arwetta from Filcolana (50g/210m) + about 5g Tilia from Filcolana (25g/210m)

one marker and one cable needle
